Adjoined by the Marketplace, The Terrace, and the picnic area on The Lawn, the Tasting Room is the perfect place to spend the day experiencing Virginia’s finest wine and food. With inviting sofas and a convivial atmosphere, you may want to linger with friends by the fireplace, play a board game with the kids, or spend the day discussing wine and food with our staff of friendly experts.

The Terrace offers views of the historic barn, the vineyards, scenic gardens, and of course Early Mountain—all with table service. So have a glass of wine, enjoy delicacies from The Marketplace, and celebrate the beauty and bounty of Virginia.

beverages, and other hand-selected artisanal products based on the season and availability. Let our knowledgeable local food experts guide you through a range of delicious options. Order a meal, or just a snack, and our friendly servers will bring your order to you to enjoy in the adjacent Tasting Room or outside on The Terrace. 

We offer tours that provide a glimpse behind the scenes

 Early Mountain Vineyards to see how wine is made. The tour will take you from the vineyard, where you’ll explore our historic property and view the intricacies of vineyard management, to our impressive state-of-the-art production facilities, where you’ll learn about fermentation and vinification. By appointment only.
